If you're ever headed up north to Anaktuvuk Pass, you'll probably stop for groceries at Nunamiut Grocery. With a variety of groceries, hardware and more, this is a primary hub for the 341 residents there. The store is part of the Nunamiut Corporation, formed by the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act in 1973.

The Skurla's team installed their grocery system there, powered by Auto-Star POS, and replaced their cash registers. The system is composed of two workstations complete with scanners, scales, cash drawers and more. This system is one of the few that is certified by the State of Alaska and able to process credit cards, EBT, and EWIC. With this new easy-to-use and budget-friendly system, Nunamiut Grocery is able to fulfill their customers' needs quicker and more efficiently.
