Quick Tip to Protect Your Point of Sale or Cash Drawer from Theft

The other day a customer called and said they had to replace their brand new cash register. When our office manager asked why  - it was because someone had broken into their store and stole the cash register.

Tip: Always leave the cash drawer open with the till exposed. This way intruders will immediately know that there is no cash in the drawer and often will leave the register/point of sale equipment alone.   Too many times, businesses have their registers or point of sale systems destroyed or stolen on the chance there may be cash left in the drawer.
