We are proud to announce that Gallo’s Mexican Restaurant on Dimond in Anchorage, as well as their Fairbanks location, have come home to Skurla’s and are using our amazing new system: EdgeServ POS! With EdgeServ Point of Sale, they eliminated up to almost all credit card processing fees, and Skurla’s POS Solutions provided the entire system, paper, support, and set up at zero cost.*

First of all, I wanted to preface this story to say how sorry we were to hear about the theft of the ATM at Tastee Freez last week.  I am sure many of you have seen the video by now.  We are saddened and also mad that this happened to our good friends. 

Now that summer is over, we are taking time to reflect on some of the cool things that happened these last few months.

Summer activities in Alaska are all about getting the most out of the outdoors:

fishing, camping, and hiking, and eating outdoors. However, the pandemic put some hitches in our Alaskan summer, including our dining experiences. COVID-19 has changed many things, but Alaskans are known for their resiliency and ingenuity, even before experiencing a global pandemic. And, as Alaskans, we have found ways to adapt, while still enjoying our summer dining staples, like having pizza at Moose’s Tooth and Bear Tooth.
