Last month we shared that every year around the holidays, the Skurla’s team meets for a day to review the previous year and set a course for “the ship” for the coming year.

 We like to refer to the business as a ship because at Skurla’s, we are an “all hands” type of company, meaning we are all pitching in, doing our part to make sure we are doing the right thing for our company and our customers. It’s an opportunity for the “crew” to be a part of the decision-making process and make sure everyone is “onboard” for the course we’re setting.

We are super excited about our EdgeServ POS product for our restaurant and bar customers.  This is a restaurant point of sale system designed by resellers like us.  In 2019, we joined a group of like minded resellers and invested in a software company that we can call our own.

And speaking of new, we have lots of "new" going on around here!

It was quite a month for many Alaskans - like surviving a major earthquake, just to name one thing.

We have had over 1,800 aftershocks as of yesterday, roads are being repaired, schools are still closed, but no one suffered serious injury - amazing.
