There's More to Denali Than The Mountain - MobileBytes POS in the Park

When you think of Denali in Alaska, many words and thoughts come to mind – the mountain, tourists, wildlife, wilderness, hiking, sightseeing – all the great opportunities the park has to offer.

However, when we at Skurla’s think of Denali, we think of our great customers up in the park!

And this spring we had the opportunity to work with 4 of them – 49th State Brewing Company in Healy, Denali Park Salmon Bake, Prospector’s Historic Pizzeria & Alehouse, and The Overlook at the Crow’s Nest.

One of Skurla’s superheroes – Jeff Wood, was up in the park installing our restaurant iPad Point of Sale Solution, MobileBytes – in each of these locations.  After using a legacy point of sale system, the owners wanted a solution that was easy to use, yet robust enough for an extremely busy restaurant.  Plus, they were already using it in their sister restaurant, 49th State Brewing Co. in Anchorage, AK.20170426_175510.jpg

Using our MobileBytes POS solution, means “goodbye” to computer servers and all the issues that operating a Windows based system can cause  -  no backups, no antivirus, no Windows reboots.

So the next time you are up in the park, visit one of these popular locations, and enjoy what Denali also has to offer – great food, exceptional beer and some of the nicest people you will ever meet.
