Going Paperless in Spenard (Spenard Roadhouse, that is)

For most diners, the “front stage” of the restaurant is all that they see. However, the magic that happens behind the scenes is a very complex machine that would astound most of those not in the hospitality business. In the traditional restaurant, an orchestra of cooks, prep cooks, expediters and others work with a system of printers and tickets in creating their ideal meal services. It’s a fast paced world of people and food in motion. Tickets and plates move quickly from the kitchen to the eagerly awaiting customer. Recently, Spenard Roadhouse wanted to take their existing POS to a new level and implement a KDS (Kitchen Display System) to bring increased efficiency and accuracy to their restaurant.
